(Patten, 2016). Therefore, by hiring the right people from the start is a good way to help promote business growth within a company. Once hired, investing in the employee by providing guidance and training to develop new skills and to improve current skills, will help retain them. â€Å"Employees who feel they are developing their skills tend to be happier in their jobs, which results in increased employee retention.† (Patten, 2016).
